These interactive keys of plants have been compiled within a European project KeyToNature (in the framework of the eContentplus Programme) in cooperation of Italian and Estonian partners and using the Italian database of plants Dryades. The present keys were produced specifically to organise identification lessons/courses in primary and secondary schools in Estonia. Today the keys are available in two or three languages – Estonian, English and Italian.

Käesolevad taimede interaktiivsed määrajad on koostatud europrojekti KeyToNature (programm eContentplus) raames, Itaalia ja Eesti koostööpartnerite ühistööna ning kasutades Itaalia taimede andmebaasi Dryades võimalusi. Määramistabelid koostati kindla eesmärgiga võimaldada taimede määramise tundide või kursuste läbiviimist Eesti põhi- ja keskkoolides. Praegu on määramistabelid saadaval kahes või kolmes keeles – eesti, inglise ja itaalia keeles.
