Passport and Visa

For the citizens of most of the European countries and of the USA, a valid passport is all that is required to enter Estonia. Nevertheless, we recommend that you consult the home-page of the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (http://www.vm.ee/eng) or contact your local Estonian consulate to ensure that visa is not required. It is each participant's responsibility to acquire the necessary travelling documents.

The official invitations needed for a visa will be delivered by the Symposium Secretariat at the participant's request (after the participation fee has been paid). The following data are needed:

• family name, first name, date of birth, citizenship;

• name and number of your travelling document; issuing state; date of issue; date until your document is valid;

• exact dates of entering into Estonia and of departure;

• which consulate or embassy of Estonia you will apply for visum;

• post address to which you want us to send the invitation letter.
